A Huge Thank You from Shark Bay Seagrass Restoration

We would like to say a massive thank you to Alice, Lexi, Olivia, Charlotte and Maddy from Sydney, who recently raised more than $300 for Shark Bay Seagrass Restoration through their own bake sale.

Alice visited Shark Bay earlier this year and, after learning about our seagrass restoration work and the importance of healthy seagrass meadows for dugongs, returned home determined to help.

Together with her friends, she turned that inspiration into action.

For us, this is what the project is all about. Restoration isn't just about planting seagrass — it's about inspiring the next generation to care about our oceans and showing young people that their actions can genuinely make a difference.

A huge thank you to the girls, their families and everyone who supported their fundraiser.
